PROJECT ADAMAH: NWJEP's EarthDay Celebration
Sunday, April 18, 1999
9:30 AM - 3:30 PM
On April 18th - be at the JCC, 3801 East Mercer Way at 9:30 AM
for breakfast and registration. Register for one of the many sites
around the city where you will participate in assorted restoration
projects geared towards your particular skills and abilities.
(Family participation is encouraged - sites will be provided which
will allow parents and children to work together) At registration
you will be able to choose what type of work you would like to
do and what part of the city to do it in.
10:15 - 11:00 - A brief introduction and explanation of the day's
activities and purpose accompanied by an educational presentation
on Judaism & the Environment. After this brief presentation
we will head out to our respective sites and do our part.
We hope that you will join us, we want you to join us and be part
of what promises to be a fun-filled, productive and fulfilling
